Darth Vaders Force Choke cancels itself after a second

Summarize your bug Darth Vaders Force Choke cancels itself after a second, even with star card extending the duration equipped.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 03/01/2019
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 10:00 PM
In what game mode did the bug occur? Heroes vs. Villains
What is your time zone? ECT - GMT + 1:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a match of HvV as Darth Vader, trigger Force Choke.
What happens when the bug occurs? The ability goes into cooldown after less than a second.
What do you expect to see? Full duration.

    I'll take a look. I must admit I believe I don't use it while moving, so maybe that's the issue indeed. I'll try that out next time I test suff in Arcade

    I have noticed a difference in triggering.

    Previous mechanics were about holding the button for choke to keep it going.

    Now its press to start and second press to cancel. Holding counts as both presses of the button. (This was tested in Arcade)

    It seems to be the opponent who cancels the choke, it doesn't always happen.

    @Rogue_Manda_YT 

    Previous mechanic? I've always done this way of just pressing once, even when we had that minigame which the vader's player needed to tap the attack button as fast as he could to enhance the choke duration or damage (don't remember which).

    Maybe holding the button worked previously, but then after a patch they changed it to be considered an activation followed by a deactivation? Good guess Rogue Manda. So if you just press it once, does the ability work as intended?
