Defend Corvus ?

Im stuck, i get thru the battlefront 2 defend corvus section and at the end of it it says " go back to mission areas" or something like that. then red pointer shows up going different directions i turn left /right/up/down etc where ever it points too then clock runs down and it kills me. what am i doing wrong ?
