It’s not a bug: before this update the hit detection had delay, it was easy to dodge without being destabilized.
The “destabilized” state only happens with a failed dodge: it’s specific to failed dodges in the game.
In the video the player is dodging too late, he’s hit during the channeling time of the dodge (something like 0.3s after the launch of the dodge).
Now dodging has to be made with anticipation and/or with a very short reaction time.
I’m sorry the game should have been like that from the beginning...

Oops slight oversight: the destabilized state also exists when you’re hit from sides when you’re blocking with a lightsaber.
