This may be a world record.

Something is very off if it's taking 3 days to download.

When you say your internet is awful, what exactly are we talking about? It would have to be something like a 56K dialup to take that long.

With the performance you are seeing with download, you are not going to have a good experience playing the game, if you don't change something.
