Here is the issue I see. When I am playing I still see a lot of 0-3 leveled players. Not nearly as many purple players. What incentive to fix this quickly do they have if the number of people buying the game is out pacing the number of people leaving.
As much as I would hope this issue is on the front burner, I have to remind myself that this is a 3 and 1/2 month old issue now and the response so far is to give me a 4k credit crate.
If I didn't enjoy just playing the Interceptor so much I would have walked away from the game weeks ago. Walking away is still an option.

Pre NGE "Despite some of the rhetoric coming from the existing player base, we've not noticed any rise in people canceling their subscriptions. It's just a very small, very vocal minority."
Post NGE and more than 20% subscription loss "You don’t hear me saying 'everything is great.' I think it’s fair to say I was surprised how negative the reaction from the existing playerbase was. That tells me we didn’t handle the communication very well. Are there a lot of pissed off current and ex-players? Yes. Did we deserve that? Yes. We threw the baby out with the bathwater in some cases..." ~ SOE Company president John Smedley

Let us hope yet another Star Wars online franchise doesn't flush itself down the toilet. If anybody on a decision making level should still be stupid enough to respond to problems from the player base with "It's just a very small, very vocal minority.", they are definitely in the wrong position. As a rule of thumb for ever customer voicing their issues there are usually up to 10 silent customers feeling the same but not voicing it aloud. So if 2% of the player base are complaining, probably 20% are thinking the same.
And while we're looking at "history":
EA took over the Mass Effect franchise and every fan of Mass Effect will probably remember the inglorious end the series took with Mass Effect 3. Bioware then tried and failed to relaunch with Mass Effect Andromeda and I saw that particular game being sold for about 10 US$ on the special EA sales day a few days ago. There will probably be no further game taking place in the Mass Effect universe in the future ever, because no gamer will put any trust or money into that franchise any more.Which is sad, because the first Mass Effect was groundbreaking back then and the ME3 Multiplayer was tons of fun and there was plenty of potential to build upon that in the futer. But one should hope that EA has learned from their mistakes and will not repeat them with Battlefront II by ignoring a problem with a central part of the game for too long.

But on a completely different note:
I was prompted to download another update for Battlefront II yesterday. Approx. over 800 MB in size. I was hoping it was a "silent" patch aimed to fix the ongoing duplicate cards don't give back credits issue. But unfortunately nothing has changed so far.
Does anybody here know what that update on the 27th of February 2018 was actually about?
Google didn't provide me with anything but notes to the Patch 1.2 so far and in game was also no link to the content provided (like it was for Patch 1.2).
Edit:
Just found it myself by adding the date to my Google search. Apparently it was just an Xbox One update to fix a rendering issue:

Daily check in to see if there has been any dev communication/update...sigh.
Problem persists for me, no backlog received, no credits received for duplicate in the daily.
On an unrelated note, I'm SOOOOO happy to see ANOTHER Jetpack Cargo challenge today. [/sarcasm] I'm glad that is a "limited time" mode. But at least I get some SE44c kills that don't go towards any of my totals.
