It's likely the community indicated the issue appeared to be resolved in the past (yet has now crept back in).
It's still a good idea to post in topics/threads marked Accepted Solution, as EA does look for posts there, from what I understand.

Hoping that someone at EA/DICE can provide a current update on progress? I know @F8RGE is on vacation right now but let's hope communication doesn't stop with him. @EA_Ataashi or @EA_Atic or anyone else for that matter. Can someone please put some pressure on the dev team to get us some answers? The communication/attention to this issue has been horribly mishandled from the start, it is now time to rectify the issue. We have provided our input on possible solutions, as has some of the dev team. It's time to implement a solution and stop talking about it. Action is what we need now, please make something happen.

I haven't been able to play for 2 weeks. The only way I can get into a game at all is to join a friend. Can't search, every time I do I get empty lobbies. I know it must be another bug, but it feels like EA getting back at me for being a pain and posting in this forum a lot. Just feels this way. So I have come to the unfortunate decision to quit playing this game until there is more significant new content and it is not soooooo bugged. EA plz plz get your * together. Get it working good so when I come back for fall for Grevious and Kenobi I will be inclined to spend $ on skins. If not you have given up and broke the PROMISE you guys made anlbout this game being supported by YEARS of content. Yes EA you did say this game would be supported with new content for years.

I think this thread was "solved" way back when they finally gave some compensation for the original problem. However, this "solution" was removed a few weeks back, and this thread became active again, but this does not changed the "solved" status of the thread. This thread now generally addresses a new problem, and I believe EA staff is aware of this thread, so people who are not satisfied with the inaction can still keep the issue alive by posting here.

The problem you are getting is not related to your posting on this thread, but a weird bug related to ping site issues, from what I understand from EA posts. I've had the same problem, and there are some workarounds (not solutions). It's a bit of a pain in the tuckus, but try some of the ideas on this thread. Seriously? Another major bug ruining the gaming experience? Wow. This game definitely gets the first place for most and weirdest bugs ever. Glad I stopped playing some time ago.

Oh I am * done for sure now!!! After this update this game is unplayable!!! I did apply these " workarounds" they don't work still nothing but empty lobbies. This is * *!!!! Seriously how much are we supposed to take EA took a great license and took a massive * right on it. That's ok there are other video game company's that will be glad to take my$ without SCREWING me over

I applaud the increased communication in a variety of areas now that @F8RGE has returned but the ongoing silence regarding the compensation crate issue is beyond absurd. Can someone on the dev team get this fixed? We know it doesn't require a client side update, as the kill switch to remove it was done without any updates (or without warning). It was initially removed ostensibly because it was causing some database issues or something to that effect but there has been more than enough time to come up with a solution or to offer an entirely new solution (i.e. purchasing skill points/crafting parts with credits as previously mentioned). With the upcoming release of new clone skins, it would be a great time to solve this so we would be comfortable spending real $ on crystals, something that I've stated I won't do until this is fixed. I encourage others on the forums with this issue to follow the same path: Don't spend any real $ until this issue has been fixed, and voice your concerns here. It is time we brought this issue back to the forefront and pound away. We have been waiting patiently for long enough.

Any news? Any updates? Any information? Until we have additional resolution, I encourage everyone to keep the pressure on. It wasn't our fault this happened, it wasn't our fault the previous resolution was removed without warning. Unless we keep loud and keep unified, this issue will die a silent death. Remember, no more real $ until this gets fixed.

Just so I'm not wasting anymore time with this, has the rest of the community given up on this issue? Or are we letting it die a pitiful, quiet death? Nothing will be done unless we maintain pressure but at this point it feels like i'm screaming in to a vacuum, dev team and community alike.

No one cares. EA don't care DICE don't care devs don't care ben don't care I gave up a while ago. I haven't played the game in over a month. They have lost a customer for life here, but like Ive said they don't care
It would have been nice if they could have used some lube for all this screwing they have done to our butts. Nothing to ease the pain just ualf * bandaids. customer for life lost and I promise you I am not the only one

Any chance we can get our compensation crates back after this latest round of "bug-a-polooza"? We were told the crates were removed because of database corruption issues. Since everything is a hot mess after the last couple of patches, would a little bit of DB corruption really matter anyway? Throw us a bone here.

I'm guessing most people have given up on ever getting the compensation crate replaced or any complete resolution. I can't say that I blame them. From the beginning EA/DICE handled this situation poorly and are now just hoping it gets swept under the rug and forgotten. It baffles me that there are so many little things that can be done to restore goodwill with the player base but the developers keep choosing to ignore them and/or actively make matters worse. We had a solution that, while not perfect, was reasonable. And it gets removed without warning and a sad explanation. No follow up after the fact either. This issue will forever cloud my view of EA/DICE.

I started calling the EA supportdesk in The Netherlands in December 2017 because I did't get the credits for the duplicate starcards. Called them about 5 times then I started with responding on this and other threads on the forum. Also got some responses from some devs from EA and Dice but still on this day I did't get any compensation for my losses.
The fact is that I 'm a huge Star Wars fan and love to play this game but I'm so very very very dissapointed about the way our issue is/was handled by EA and Dice.
