EA Need to add crossplay in battelfront 2

Hi! So me and my friend wants to play battelfront 2 together but guess what hes on PC while Im on PS4. i dont understand why EA havent added crossplaying in battelfront 2.  No wonder why the game ...

    We're not going to get crossplay considering where the game is in it's lifecycle.

Sorry you can't play with your buddy, but bearing in mind the complaints about cheaters and hacks on PC, as a PS player I'd be very much against this.
