Early Access

Does EA access let you play Star Wars Battlefront 2 early on November 9th or November 14th? I've been hearing different answers and would like to know which.

    It is both. For November 9th only when you join EA Access on Xbox One or Origin Access on PC. For November 14th you get early access when you Pre-order the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition available for ALL platforms. 

    For November 9th, the release date maybe be confusing, If I'm not mistaken it seems to be it will only be available for that 1 day and for only 10 hours to try it out but all progress will carry over. November 14th will basically be like a full release with the Pre-ordered deluxe edition.

    Say I preordered Battlefront 2 at GameStop. Will EA access still give me early access to the game even if I am getting it through GameStop?

    @ShadowHawk7197 Yes! I am doing the same thing. I have the hard copy Deluxe Edition Pre-ordered for my PS4 and will be able to pick it up on the 14th. But if you are talking about early access for November 9th through Origin or Xbox I may be wrong but that can only be accessible digitally if you  pre-ordered through those providers. That may be a question to call and ask game stop.
     
    A way around it may be to just pre-order through Origin/EA access but cancel your pre-order after November 9th and then just get the hard copy at Gamestop. Not sure if that would affect your progression since it might not carry over.

    Hey, you can make a physical purchase if you wish.

    On Xbox you can download and play the trial, then when you get your copy of the game pop in the disc and keep going from where you left off. 

    On PC it's the same, play the trial, then pop in the game's product code when you get it. 


    If you do decide to go digital it should all be processed automatically, and you can just continue playing when your copy unlocks in your region.
