Might be a difference in thinking between PC and console players but as a console player, I would expect that any "upgrade" benefits for buying a special edition would follow the disc and be available to anyone on the console. Might not even be PC vs. console thinking but more of physical media vs. download media. Physical media has been traditionally linked to "for all" where download media typically is linked to "individual accounts". XBox did a solid when they allowed the "family" accounts access to all localized media, I can see where the loot crates would be aggravating in this scenario.

8 years agoI'm in the same boat. Multiple kids who want to play but I only bought one Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition because I expected the bonus content to work like it did on the last Battlefront game. The fact that there isn't anything on the game disk packaging stating otherwise makes this situation sound like bait & switch/false advertising unless EA does something significant to right this wrong, they've probably seen the last of my business.
