@TRlALON Foolish as it may seem, I'm still holding out hope that EA and DICE will realize their massive mistake and renew development for Battlefront II. The "vision" as Dennis called it is not "complete".

I wouldn't even mind a monetization scheme, as long as it wasn't scummy.

@TheGamerSealThe problem is that EA obviously relied on receiving money from the lootcrates, but when they were gone, they completely lacked any sort of monetization concept which sealed the end of this game from this point on.

I guess we can be lucky that they felt the need to do some image work or else they'd stopped investing money into the game's development much earlier.

The timing of support end was surprising maybe, but not that support won't last longer than maximally 2 years after release.
