Look at first I was like it's going to take forever to advance in this game. Let alone get my cards up. While at first it may seem like it. In all honesty it really doesn't take too much time. Two ...
I ask about what you bought to see if that may determine progress speed. If i'm not mistaken you level up the classes by what star cards and grade you unlock for each class they belong too so for the deluxe edition star cards would level up all your classes by some degree and of course if you bought crystals that will obviously speed up progression in some degree. But from what you explained doesn't seem to have much impact on speeding up progress with anything else which I hope is the actually case.
As far as unlocking items and working towards them doesn't bother me as long as it's in a reasonable and fair time to get what I want. I do like when I always have something to work towards for example I hate when I reach the level cap for any game, now the XP I earn doesn't go towards anything and that does take away some of the motivation to keep playing.
When it comes to loot crates I don't like it because I want to work towards something I know I am going to get. Not work for credits to gamble and maybe get something I want.
As far as EA making profit from micro transactions for all free DLC is a pretty good idea but the system they put into place wasn't really a great one for reasons that have been blasted all over the internet. I think when people start getting their cards to tier 3 and try to unlock tier 4 is when the real grind happens.
Got on Tuesday but only been playing properly since Friday.
Bought some crates and one hero (Luke) and Villian (Darth Vader) 60 credits off another.
spent no money just played the game and levelled up to 17.
if kids are too stupid too understand that paying is optional not mandatory and boycott the game it’s their loss as enough people are playing and it’s a lot of fun.
Honestly, people scream P2W but nothing is P2W, i have seen people with high end cards but cannot even play the game to save their life, even seen a guy Level 40 on star card level, he was literally terrible at the game, star fighter assault, high card levels maxed out, they still cannot take down a new player, so it goes to show P2W doesn't exist as you are not paying for "OP" anything that guarantees a 99.99% win rate

There the same cards you just get some with the deluxe edition for free.
i had crates with duplicates and in that case you get credits instead.
I don’t believe you level faster with deluxe edition just get bonus credits/free crates/early access.
