Far as I can see, you have no way of crafting anything, not even mods, everything is locked behind accomplishments. I guess the menu label is a leftover from the beta, but it's a bit misleading now. Or am I just blind, and there is a way to craft?
DICE TeamHey @felker_s you can craft Star Cards to get guns and gun attachments they are tied to the ingame progression system ,for a example: kill X amount with this gun to unlock X.
You use scrap to craft the cards and you can get them from doing milestones (its under career) or you can get scrap from crates.
To craft the cards go to collection and the chose the class, ship or hero that you want to make a card for. Click customize and then equip & craft cards and then click on the card you want and press craft if you have the material for it.
You can also use scrap to upgrade cards from Gray to Green and Green to Blue and Blue to Purple.

I understand how card crafting works, however the menu (when accessing the Collection tab from the main screen, then choosing a class) says "equip & craft weapons", which is just not possible.
