Re: Error 1,756 preventing upgrades and progress saving
Progress is not saving, I get this error within 15 seconds of booting the game up.
EA plz help, I love BF2 but I can't see a reason to play it without progression being saved.

I'm having the exact same issue. I couldn't help but notice that this problem started on Halloween. Perhaps the error is linked with the Ewok Hunt mode, which was first released as a Special Halloween Event. The only other thing I can think of is it may have something to do with Daylight Savings Time and the internal clock of the game servers.
I just started playing the game—I can’t level up, unlock cards, or unlock weapons. I’ve played so many matches, but at the end of each one, everything resets to zero. It’s a total disaster.
I noticed it yesterday as well but I was day drinking and didn't care, now I am not day drinking as much as I was yesterday and very much so do care. EA needs to fix this

Same issue. Started on Halloween. On Xbox series X. Tried all the suggested workarounds. Restarted, logged out, deleted reserve space, played an arcade match. Still error 1756.
