Error 524, my sons sub account on Xbox live is unable to get online

I recently purchased battlefront 2 for my son for his birthday. He has a sub account under my main account on xbox one s. Every time he attempts to play the multiplayer it says he is not signed in an...

It says my xbox account is offline so I try to recconect but it says: 'Sorry, this account is not able to play online. See ea.com/unable-to-connect' for more information. It then says 'Error code: 524'.

It is really annoying because I can go on my brothers account and it is connected but mine isnt.
