I figured out how to work around it. I had this problem for 3 days, but today, I scrolled over to the "Collection" screen and hit the right stick again, and this time it worked. Googling around Newsweek published an article on it:

My suggestion would be to try it 3 times, once in the main screen, twice in the collections menu, and hope it doesn't glitch out.

Today the game has been actually glitching out of the error 721 screen, and I have had to quit Battlefront, then gone back in to start the process all over again.
