error code 1066 Empty multiplayer forums and no online games for over a week

Yes i know there are numerous threads already about this issue

but i was asked by the help line to write this

I am in Australia and haven't got into a game for over a week and i try every morning afternoon and evening
Empty forums   one or two people join and after waiting 10 min leave

I even sat in a forum for 3 hours yesterday just to see if it ever connected

it didn't

I do not have any network issues and am supposedly connected to the Australian server with 41 MS

I have tried every way to fix this using advice from these forums and EA helpline steps

I play other games online and all of them are working fine

I understand this issue has been going for a while

I was told this would be raised with the developers (WHERE ARE YOU???)

Lets see how long this takes for them to fix

I have kept my language clean after my previous post was deleted and i was banned for my language

please note even though i have not used that kind of language here

this post certainly should be full of them

FBJ

As an afterthought

each day i see 3 daily things i could do for 500 credits
i have only been able to complete any of the arcade tasks
so each day i'm not able to complete 1000 credits worth that i should be able to easily complete
EA maybe you should think of compensation for everyone with the next update
its been 7-8 days now so i'm short 7000-8000 credits
I know you cannot deal with each person so maybe 20K for everyone
It's not like we can use it for anything after all

but it would look like you are TRYING to show your customers that you care

just a thought

it wont mean a thing really

  • Welcome to the club mate.

Hope your post gets a formal response because mine and everyone else's aren't.

From my own experience the helpline/tech support employees just read from a predetermined script and try to gain your faith in them by sounding like they know what they are saying, and they almost certainly don't read these forums themselves so it kinda sounds like a cop out getting you to post on here, it'll just so be that they can tick a box saying they gave you 'X' advice.

But good luck anyway, and I mean that sincerely.

    @flashbackjack

All we can do is keep posting/commenting/asking questions in the faint hope that somebody actually gives us a response or a fix.

Shame this forum is part of something called answers.ea.com because it rarely (if ever) has any.

  • I am right there with you too! I would say it's been close to a month since I was able to play any multiplayer games. I used to check the forums every day, hoping for something to give me some hope, then it was every couple of days, now it's just gotten to the point that I check whenever the little origin icon happens to catch my eye.
