Error Code 1,066.I saw this was a previous error and apparently all they had to do to fix it is change the ping site to a different one. No luck here with doing that and I've done it multiple times. Changed origin and BF2 to "Run as admin" etc. I will note that the game seems to be fully updated to the Solo season and this is the first time I've had issues with this error.It finds no matches whatsoever in Heroes vs. Villains and the new showdown one. Before this current Solo season update I had no problems with finding matches. I've looked to see if others are having this issue currently and it seems I'm the lone ranger. Two of my friends in my origin friends are having no problems with the game and playing multiplayer.If anyone can help please reply and thanks in advance!

@Veovis77 For clarification, error 1,066 means that your matchmaking has timed out, which can be caused by connectivity issues (more common) or missing update files - you won't be able to play if your version of the game is old. Has anyone tried to reinstall the game to solve this problem? 🤔 If you're on PC you can try Repair option, but full re-installation might be required. I recommend downloading it via Origin too - this way you'll already get the updated version of the game with no extra downloads. /Ataashi

Besides running the game and Origin as admin, have you tried any connectivity troubleshooting steps? I recommend checking out the steps listed in this article.

I have tried all of these already and none of them have changed anything. Finding matches wasn't an issue before this update for the solo season.

I was reading that people were having issues with this error in 2017 but most of those threads lead to nowhere with no solution. I'm beginning to get a little worried. I don't see how it could be my connection period when it was fine before this update and now it's not. I'm not necessarily complaining just to complain nor am I blaming anyone. It's just strange that before this update everything was fine.

Sometimes it's really hard for our specialists to establish the source of connectivity problems for individual players ☹️

I agree that it's suspicious that the matchmaking suddenly stopped working after we updated our game. However, we monitor our servers and if the problem would be connected with them, we would notice and way more players would come to our support requesting help.

In such situations, we usually suspect customer's ISP. Maybe something in our update was not compatible with their net settings? Unfortunately, we have no possibility to check every ISP in the world, but certainly we couldn't have released an update, which would permanently block online access for certain providers. We're usually talking about minor things there... Like version of your Internet protocol (IPv) or the availability of game dedicated ports (some of them might need to be "re-opened") - it was mentioned in the article, which I linked in my previous post.

If it's possible, we also recommend checking out a different Internet connection.

I've not been able to connect since the update. I only have one internet connection available to me, but it is one of the UK's largest providers (BT). If it's an ISP specific glitch, then you've likely managed to knock out a large portion of the UK player base with it.

Then it's something with local settings. If we managed to block online access in SWB2 for one of the biggest providers in UK, we would notice right away... believe me.

Have you tried any of the troubleshooting steps, which were mentioned previously?

I've tried the troubleshooting, still no joy.
A couple of points on your previous response:
* I was playing the game on Tuesday, I've not been able to connect since the patch. The only thing to change anywhere on my system in that time is the patch
* A few people on here have reported the same issue (1,066) since the patch. As have people on the SWBF II forum (https://battlefront-forums.ea.com/categories/multiplayer)
Given these problems have been reported since the patch, it looks like the patch has caused the problem, not any change I have made.
If you're going to stick with the "it's your system" response, then it may be useful if you could tell us what code 1,066 actually translates to in English. At least then we may be able to look into our own settings beyond the generic troubleshooting.
