Error Code 1,066.
I saw this was a previous error and apparently all they had to do to fix it is change the ping site to a different one.
No luck here with doing that and I've done it multiple times. Changed origin and BF2 to "Run as admin" etc. I will note that the game seems to be fully updated to the Solo season and this is the first time I've had issues with this error.
It finds no matches whatsoever in Heroes vs. Villains and the new showdown one. Before this current Solo season update I had no problems with finding matches. I've looked to see if others are having this issue currently and it seems I'm the lone ranger. Two of my friends in my origin friends are having no problems with the game and playing multiplayer.

For clarification, error 1,066 means that your matchmaking has timed out, which can be caused by connectivity issues (more common) or missing update files - you won't be able to play if your version of the game is old.
Has anyone tried to reinstall the game to solve this problem? 🤔 If you're on PC you can try Repair option, but full re-installation might be required. I recommend downloading it via Origin too - this way you'll already get the updated version of the game with no extra downloads.
