Error code 201 EVERY SINGLE TIME

All other games I play online are fine. My ping is great when I check it.

I bought this game and enjoyed single player to learn the ropes. I jump online and I can't finish a single match without getting disconnected from the server and having to find a new game.

This is unacceptable. I contacted EA support and they gave me useless advice about how to fix things on my end.

The problem is with the game, not my Internet. When I buy a game that is heavily focused on multiplayer content I expect to access servers which don't kick me off every single match.

Feeling cheated by EA. Who else is with me?

I've found that when BF2 is loading (after being 201 disconnected):
1) turn off the network (Main PS4 Menu > Settings > Network > Connect to the Internet [toggle "off"])
2) go back into BF2
3) THEN go back to Network and [toggle "on"] (Main PS4 Menu > Settings > Network > Connect to the Internet [toggle "on"])
4) go back into BF2 and R3 to re-connect
I hope this helps others, it's saved me a ton of hassle (still sucks to go through all that - haha!)

I'm having this error 201 issue today.
I was playing perfectly fine a couple of days ago with friends, now I can't join a game with them.
I've narrowed the issue for me down to when joining game servers as a group, then when I leave group the issue persists, but after rebooting the game I can join games perfectly fine, until I group up with my friends again and then I get this error 201. But they can join the games together fine, I am the only one getting kicked out, however like I said I was playing the game with them both perfectly fine a couple of days ago.
So far I have checked for updates, updated Windows, added BF2 folder to my firewall exception list, verified the cash, disabled and re-enabled my NIC, checked for driver updates, flushed DNS, ran renewed network adapters but I still get the same issue, but I can communicate with them both in DISCORD and join and player other games with them perfectly fine.
There issue, for me, lies with the in-game group feature when joining a match.
EDIT:
The ONLY work-around for this is to let them join the game, and then me join them while they are in-game already.
This is not ideal and clearly demonstrates there is a fault with the group join mechanic.

@EA_Atic do us all a favour.
If I can play endless hours of other online games with barely a ping issue, yet get constant error codes from your game, the problem is not on my end!
Fix the problem, or at least have the decency to admit it’s something you haven’t solved yet, but are looking into.
You lot should be doing everything you can to keep us happy with this of all games!
To end on a positive, your developers have done sterling work making this a decent game, so please don’t spoil it with nonsense responses to genuine customer service complaints.

New player, only about 3-4 weeks. Love the game, but having the same issue where I get the 201 error and always end up closing the application and restarting the game to get it to work correctly. Love the game, but this is a HUGE hassle.
