What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug I’m trying to play with my roommate and we always seem to get this error code. We both have separate consoles, separate accounts, and any other multiplayer game works except for Battlefront 2. I’ve tried opening/forwarding ports and this does not work since we have multiple devices. Resetting our consoles and hard resetting our internet does not fix it either. I’ve also tried setting a manual ping on both consoles, and this does not work all the time. I should also mention that if we play individually it works fine. If we play with other friends, it also works fine. It’s only when we try to group together that we experience error code 216. Answers given in other topics relating to this same error code have not been resolved.

What is your time zone? PST - GMT - 8:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create a group in-game with one other player. Each player has to be using a separate console that is connected to the same local network. Does not matter if the consoles are connected to LAN or WAN, the game will prevent one or both players from joining the same session with error code 216 appearing on screen.
What happens when the bug occurs? While in the loading screen where both players are waiting to join an open game session, Error Code 216 appears on screen for either one or both players in the group. You are immediately brought back to the main menu screen after pressing “x” and are forced to retry connecting to another session (error code 216 always persists regardless how many attempts are made).
What do you expect to see? I would like to be able to play online with my roommates and/or friends without seeing this error code every time we are connected to the same network. I don’t see why we are unable to since we do not experience issues like this with other multiplayer games. It is extremely frustrating that we are forced to play on our own because we do not know how to bypass error code 216 and have tried all suggested workarounds. It would be nice if this issue was completely resolved and fixed, as it seems to be an ongoing problem that was initially reported around December 2017.

Please provide some answers and please respond to this issue. Other players and EA members on this website and/or the Battlefront 2 forums have not been able to figure out what is directly causing this problem and none of the workarounds or suggestions are working.
