Error code 3,973 (PS5)
When I try to join in on friends through the PS5 game base menu, it shows error code 3,973 ('We couldn't connect to this game, please ask your friend to invite you again') How to fix?

Interesting that this game has been around for over 5 year years and this is one of the only posts in this forum that mentions 3973. Here's another one BTW.
However, there are multiple posts about connecting with friends. You may want to give some of those a look. For example, are your friends also on PS5?
