error code 573 preventing connection

wanted to play the game again however when launching it, i am offline and trying to connect gives me an error code 573. not being a complete idiot, i looked it up and tried to :

• clear cache in the EA app via app recovery (did not work)
• power through and press the connect button a dozen times until it works (didn't work as of writing this, probably 20 presses in at this point)
• verified integrity of game files on steam, it updated some steamworks common redistributables however that still did not fix anything, this also ensures that my game is fully up to date

I'm quite lost as to what to do now, if i don't manage to fix the issue I'll just give up and uninstall the game, but it would be a shame for sure. I'm open to back-and-forth troubleshooting, i don't especially care if fixing that takes a while, i just hope to get an answer.
