I understand your issue, but if shutting down and booting up your system again does the trick, I doubt they'll bother with such a BUG. Computers (and consoles too) may behave erratically if they are left turned on for too long. And these 'sleeping' options usually just make things worse. In my PC as an example, whenever I try to play this game after the PC was sleeping, the game says I don't have the minimal requirements to run it. Then I shut it down, turn it on again, and everything is fine.

Also, if I keep my PC turned on for more then a day, next time I try to play the game it will be a laggy nightmare.

Your report is great, but I honestly think this isn't something they are willing to fix, or that they can fix at all. Might be an issue with Computers and Consoles that they have no control of.

The difference between PC and console in this specific case is that, for PlayStation specifically, suspension of gameplay in Rest Mode is a feature of the console. Therefore, as a former Format Quality Assurance Online Analyst as SCEA (now SIE), I can state from experience that if a game consistently encounters an error (aside from any lost connection) upon resuming from Rest Mode, it will be flagged by Sony's Format QA department, because Rest Mode is a designed feature of the PlayStation 4. So this is a TRC/format compliance issue.

In addition, this is a recently occurring issue that has only been occurring in the last couple of weeks or so. The Error code: 672 indicates that the connection to the EA servers has been lost; This is to be expected by entering Rest Mode. However, the game would always reconnect to the EA Servers on the first attempt. The consistently occurring Error code: 721 for failing to reconnect is a separate and new issue, and one that would be flagged by Sony if the game were being submitted for approval for initial publishing.

Thanks for the clarification! I hope that with this they take their time to address this issue. Indeed I can only tell from experience as a PC user, and from my studies in the Computer Engineering field, but in no way I went deep into the subject of Networks (TBF I found that very boring to learn, so I didn't want anything else with it after the only subject I had on the matter), nor how Sony handles their Consoles' quality.

It's so nice to know that Sony is so engaged in the quality of its Console. I don't know here if Windows is to blame for the lack of stability on PCs after a long time on, or after returning from Sleep Mode, or the fact that we can mount PCs with any component that fits. In my case though, I use an Acer laptop, so it's probably either Windows or Acer that don't have the high standards applied to them, unlike the Playstation.
