Error Code 721 and 524
For the last two days I've been having issues connecting to Battlefront 2 on Xbox one X, I either get error code 721 or 524, I've checked my account, it's definitely not a child account, and everythi...
I’m an insider too, issue started with last update on Feb 22, I submitted an error log to MS just in case.
@landenxavier- I am not an Xbox one X owner but have been in the insider program. Be cautious of any pre release updates, they can cause havoc. My Xbox one was bricked by the last update (not immediately - the update was successful but my problem appeared about a day later) and the only way I could recover was to do a full factory reset which meant I had to redo all profiles, permissions etc and reinstall all games on the internal disk. The only saviour was Xbox live saves which synced so I didn't lose my game settings. I then went to insider hub and removed my console in settings. I will now only get official and tested updates. If you have an external HD then I would copy all games from internal to that for safety.
If you suspect the last Xbox update was the problem go to this link https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/system-updates-solution.
I have been having the same trouble. Xbox One (OG MODEL) in Seattle. Been going on at least 3 days now maybe longer.
I have been playing this game fine for months and then -blip- getting both 721 and 524 error codes when trying to connect.
Can play other games fine online.
Not a child account.
Not an insider account as far as I know. (I presume I would know if I was, but I bought the xbox from a friend, used. Not sure if that matters.)
Still having the same issue. Been going on the last 4 days. Usually Error Code 721 or 524. Today I also received a 770.
@Mannix_Jr @landenxavier @4bdd07f1b096f8f1 @SIN1138 @KiErAnJuStIcE Hi to all.
As you all are in the US region can you tell me what ping site/s you are using. If it is a common ping site, try using another if you can get that far loading to get access to options. If you can't, try this. delete your current profile and redo it exactly as it was. Make sure all the details (profile name, email address, birthdate etc) and permissions are exactly the same as the deleted profile. The theory behind this is your profile is corrupted and not being recognised.
There is another thing you could try but with a warning that campaign mode/arcade games will be reset (not a problem if you have already completed them) and your current Star Cards will need to be re-allocated. Go to game management and delete save game files from everywhere. This will delete your cloud save as well as local save files. You will NOT lose data such as credits/milestones etc as these are held on the EA servers and won't be effected.
I have had to do all this on my xbox at some stage and although it can be annoying, it is not disastrous. I almost forgot, I often get the error 721 message if I don't quit the game before I shut down the Xbox. When I restart and the game shows resume, I will always get err 721. So make sure you quit the game from the xbox desktop.
