Error Code 721 and 524

For the last two days I've been having issues connecting to Battlefront 2 on Xbox one X, I either get error code 721 or 524, I've checked my account, it's definitely not a child account, and everything was fine a couple days ago.  Are the any solutions to this or any issues with the EA servers that haven't yet been posted?

  • I’ve tried all of these suggestions and I’m still getting those two errors. I’ve even tried the full shutdown, unplug the the power cable and any USB devices, and it’s still happening. I’m in Florida, USA, and it’s happening on my Xbox One S and my friend’s Xbox One X. It does NOT happen on my laptop or his PC. I’m able to play every EA game I own and a couple of EA Access games. Ergo: Fix the game’s now legendary glitchinesd, or it’s servers, and stop forcing forcing your customers to chase phantoms.

    This is great!  Thanks!  I’ve been reporting through insider for days every single time it happens, glad to see they found the problem.  Patience is a virtue as they say.

    I'm also an isider and have exactly the same problem. Since 22nd Feb I have 721 or 524 errors trying to connect to BF2. No problem to connect to other multiplayers COD WW2, BF1, BFV etc. Region Europe, Poland.

    Good to hear some progress is being made. It appears I didn't experience the same problem because I had removed my console from the Insiders program prior.
