Star Wars Battlefront 2, Oct 5, 2018. Xbox one.
Main menu being very volatile/fragile and often crashing, every time the game is loaded I am never connected to the server and when connection is attempted it is error 721 or just a straight crash back onto the Xbox dashboard.
Any fixes or info?
Hey I also just purchased the $10 deal, to me tht * was a steal, even if they had the micro-trans problem... But apon trying to play I received the error code mentioned in the above topic. So did a couple of the suggestions... I cleared my saved Data, and the reserve data, for the game, first. And seeing tht I have the 1S, tht power block option was out of the question, But i still unplugged the system just for the refresh... After turning it back on, the system and the game, I still got the error code... But when I went to Arcade mode, and clicked my right stick to connect, the first time it didn't work, but on the second attempt it connected. Now idk if this will work for you, but it connected for me... I just haven't tried to play a game yet... So here goes

So everything worked out, I even let my game sit idle, and when I came back, had the connection issue again right off the bat, but when I went to Arcade and clicked the right stick, it connected, after a momentary pause. But yeah connect thru arcade mode, for now, and hopefully on Wednesday they will have tht patch for us.
Umm, it's 2019 and i'm still having this issue, haven't been able to play this game in about a month online. I've tried every form of troubleshooting I possibly can and nothings helping. I know it's not my internet because my internet is fantastic, all my other games work great. Even been playing the old battlefront on having a blast because i'm so sick of this issue. I pre-ordered this game and payed I think like $110 for it. I didn't even get the promised pre-order DLC, and now this. What a joke. Please fix this problem.

After messing with windows restore points, enabling and disabling various service it finally started to work. And this error just occurred again. This is so bizarre. Not just only this game has this issue, but the work around that worked for my system. For example, I reinstalled windows completely at some point a week ago just to be sure, and it helped. Literally right after disabling windows update services and telemetry services the game gave me the 731 error. Then I restored. Then I tried it again but in different order. Same result. Then I tried it again and again up until the game started to login in online successfully, but with all the windows 10 bs off. I still don't know what caused it. Firewall is off. Origin services are working. Internet is fine. Router is fine.
So again, game was working fine then it decides to stop working and give the Error code 721 for no reason. Steam games are working. Battlenet games are working. Everything is working but this game. I don't know what to do.
Hey EA_ataashi still this same problem happing in Febuary 2019. Sort it out instead of sitting your thumbs . And not caring about your customers stop counting the ea cash and do something about it. Yet another disgrunted "customer/consumer"
Still not working in February 2019.
I'm having issues with this on PC as well.
