I also have this problem, but more annoying as I got the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition so it was early access without online access.
I assumed it was early access to PvE content and the main launch would open the online PvP until I saw that other people who had the deluxe edition were playing online. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game to no gain. attempting to look up answers only yielded forums about people getting 721 errors when the servers for the BETA closed.
