Error MS-XBL-MULTIPLAYER

Question

Forced to download Battlefront 2 on EA play app on game pass. It does not allow me to play with friends on XBOX.
I am unable to join, or invite friends through gamepass... receiving the error listed above.
Considering I have this game on gamepass, I dont understand why I have to download it through the EA play app in the first place or have these general issues that dont make sense.

Have you searched this forum for your issue? There are multiple, existing posts like this one that may help.

Also, please limit usage of all caps per forum guidelines.
