Everyone Goes Home not tracking in Hero Starfighters

Which part of it? Persistent
Summarize your bug The flag for squads is not set in Hero Starfighters, making it impossible to complete this milestone. Every other Hero starship milestone can be completed in this mode except this one.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? Since Hero Starfighters was released
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) Always
In what game mode did the bug occur? Hero Starfighters
What is your time zone? EST (IET) - GMT - 5:30
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play as Tallie Lintra. Complete saves on any of your spawning companion player Hero ships. Nothing tracks.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing. That’s the point.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my Savior kills tracked properly, so this milestone can be completed.

I’ve already posted about this and it has been ignored. This must be addressed as it is an oversight that should never have taken place.

    Savior Kill means not only destroying an attacking enemy - his target must be your squad member. Since hero modes don't have squad spawn, you don't have Savior bonus.

    I suggest you finish it in Starfighter Assault before they actually mess up the whole thing with the upcoming new squad system... This milestone is a pain in the butt, though.

    Two tips, never spawn alone as Tallie - you won't have anyone to save. Go back to the selection if the spawn timer is at its end and you're still alone. After spawn, follow one of your squadmates around, and take out anyone attacking him.

    Alternatively, try playing with a friend who'll spawn as the Falcon while you spawn as Tallie. Takes a bit of preparation and luck - you both have to get enough BP and also a free hero slot, but if you can manage that, everyone will gang up on the Falcon and you'll get your savior kills.

    That's how I did it anyway, though I only managed it through random Falcon spawns with me, so it was through a lot of active grinding. I don't even know why I bothered, lol.

    That’s precisely what I state in the initial post—that squad flags aren’t set. That is the oversight that needs correcting.

    Thanks for the updated response. I appreciate the extra direction but it wasn’t needed. I already have 6 Savior kills doing it that way. But after three straight months of never getting another tick, I was excited to see the devs add Hero Starfighters.

    It was going to be a no-brainer to finish this (my very last) milestone. However, since they overlooked the notion of having us spawn as squads, it cannot be completed.

    I do everything you suggested but more than half the time, I’m either bouncing back and forth from the countdown timer, waiting for actual players to spawn, or the squad is already fully filled with AI when I select Tallie, and I have no choice.

    Once, entering/exiting the countdown timer multiple times, awaiting players, I lost her altogether because someone else nabbed a ship.

    This whole milestone was set up poorly from the get-go. This Hero Starfighters oversight just makes it worse.

    The fact that the game never even told you what a Savior Kill means makes it worse aswell. The supposed "tutorial" mode should be exactly for things like this, instead they made an Arcade match and called it tutorial...

    Sorry I couldn't be of more help - honestly, I don't think anyone will bother with a remedy for this. Actual bugs get ignored for months, it is really a sad state where the game is.
