Fight as One not advancing

I can confirm that this is still an issue in Co-Op mode on PlayStation 4 as of 12/09/2019.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch Battlefront 2
2. At the Main Menu, select Play and press the X button
3. At the Play Menu, select Co-Op, choose either Light Side or Dark Side and press the X button
4. At the Character Select Screen, select any Trooper class and press the X button
5. When Co-op gameplay begins, defeat enough enemies to unlock a Special reinforcement unit
6. Respawn as a Special reinforcement unit
7. Defeat an enemy Hero character as a Special reinforcement unit (be sure to land the final damage to get credit for the actual defeat, not an assist)
8. When Co-Op gameplay completes, exit the game mode and return to the Main Menu
9. At the Main Menu, select Career and press the X button
10. At the Career Menu, select Troopers and press the X button
11. Navigate to the Fight as One Trooper Challenge
EXPECTED: The player should be credited with having defeated an enemy Hero character
ACTUAL RESULT: The Fight as One Trooper Challenge does not track progress made in Co-Op Mode
