I was on Theed yesterday playing GA and we spawned and right in front of us was somebody shooting vanguard at our spawn spot and I died about 1s after respawning. Incredibly frustrating.
Most of the GA spawn locations are pretty good in that you usually can't get picked off as you spawn, but there are a few bad spots. Crait is really bad, there's a spawn point where the First Order can pick off spawning resistance down a mine tunnel. No fun to spawn in and immediately get blasted by explosive sentry.
Blast is the absolute worst. I spawned on Kashyyyk and within 3 seconds, I had 4 stormtroopers right behind me and of course got killed immediately. If they don't want to fix this (just like how they've refused to fix uncapped FPS), then at least give the players a 10-15 second shield to give them a fighting chance. This is just ridiculous.
I played a match of Yavin Blast today and I was running with 3 other troopers into the base when a single rebel magically appeared right behind me and killed me when there was no one else around us and we were running in that open area between the trees and the base.
