this mode (co-op) has an offline version (missions)
its exactly the same, you vs bots, except there are no problem that bothers you (annoying players)
but in terms of GA there is sadly no offline replacement, and all our pleas never been heard by EA
if you have disability, or too young, or lack skill, or just not enjoy sweats or cheaters, that definitive battlefront experience (only one that has actual ATAT on hoth present) is pretty much locked away
in general, i think it was possibly coming, along with other content and bugfixes, but game was just abruptly cut when pandemic started (i mean covid one, no play of words here)
you not alone in these frustrating limitations my man
ps. i think most of the players use co-op to level up their heroes
i used it and constantly spammed leia to get however many kills to unlock her and luke ANH costumes for example, and after that never visited it, just played offline missions, since its exactly the same
