@Mr_Fulgore : it s very strange u have the same behaviour on CoD 2019 : I tried it yesterday and the game is perfectly smooth with RTX enabled.
asbolutely no problem , unlike swbf2 since last update ☹️
My win 10 is perfectly uptodate and BFV works perfectly too on my rig with dx12 , so I dont think it s an issue with win10 update/dx12 and the game.
I had the issue since the last update swbf2 wednesday , so definetly it s an issue with this update I think.
Indeed , only my dx12 games had issues it seems, and that weird behavour off my gpu, thats why i was thinking about a windows 10 update, don't forget i was running allready on insider build 1909, expexted for public in november,
To be sure i did the drastic step, clean install win 10 1809, fired up call of duty 2019, problem directly solved
And indeed even with Raytracing on and multiplayer the game plays very smooth, avg 110 with graph settings on max
Will attach the before and after
Wil today also install back battlefront 2 and keep y'all posted....

Hi Mr_fulgore, I underdstand ,but I think my problem is different.
Swbf2 is not freezing, or hangs or shutdown in dx12 mode, it s the FPS was very very slow : at the beginning it s ok but after one or two min, I ve massive loss if fps !
Just unplayable ☹️
I ve never had this problem before the last update ☹️

Hi Cyberfredcobra,
i just did a few rounds on battlefront and dx12, had no issues anymore after that drastic step off clean install windows , BUT it is still a lower performance in fps , between dx11 and 12 i have average of 50 fps difference , going back to start menu , now dips to 45 fps, instead of that crawling 8 fps
at least my call of duty runs now great 🙂
i hope they fix it soon, as i can't say now the root caused it, i know it played good but i never used dx12 before, just noticed last days with new patch that game was not playing well

Same here.... game is unplayable.
I have i-8700k with 32GB RAM 3200, 2TB SSD M.2, RTX 2080. Running at ultra-wide 1440p. Was playing fine before update... and now averaging 10FPS ...

Same here, I never had problems before, but with DX12 it is significantly lower - 15-20FPS (99% utilization), vs beautifully flawless at 60FPS in DX 11 (77% utilization). I'm using an RTX 2060 with i7 8700K

@robert_29575 Never fixed it. Nothing I can do. Its a problem in game code somewhere.

Glad to hear you were able to locate the source. Did you run a memory test?- 6 years ago
@EA_BlueberryThanks to @TantivOdessa I noticed I'm having the same issue! It's using all 6gb on my rtx 2060. here's a screenshot https://i.imgur.com/eV7WBxT.jpg
I have run memory test before with no issues and SWBF2 is the only game thats using all my VRAMquick edit: ive done all the steps suggested in the beginning of this topic. The only thing I can think of that I could do is reinstall Windows in case a windows update is causing this. But that's a bit too much... Also in that screenshot I disabled Ambient Occlusion and TAA to see if I'd gain any performance. In the main menu I get around 30-40 fps with crazy stuttering. In game, specially where there are reflections on the floor and walls, it drops to 20 fps.
