Frame rate capped at 40 on PC, need a fix. [SOLVED]

I got a new laptop for Christmas, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus. Some specs are as follows:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @2.6GHz

Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060

15.85 GB RAM

1920 x 1080, 144Hz

It's pretty strong, most things run well on it. For some reason, Battlefront 2 caps itself at 40 fps. Whether I'm on low graphics or ultra graphics, the fps counter stays at 40. No clue why. I'd love to reach 60-100 and possibly even more given the power of this thing. If anybody knows if it's a game issue or if I need to tweak some Nvidia setting, please let me know. Thank you.

[EDIT: SOLVED] Apparently Geforce Experience's Whisper Mode caps fps so I just turned it off and getting a consistent 80-90.
