Friendly AI ignoring/running from command posts (IA Missions)

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load up IA Mission attack on any map. Observe AI/command posts.
What happens when the bug occurs? (EDIT: cannot upload videos for some reason) AI are often running away from command posts in IA missions (attack) even when only one there, which stops capture progression. AI are also often avoiding going to CPs or staying within the CP rings, instead fighting in other parts of the map. This puts pressure on player to capture/fight solo which is slower, and it is completely unlike the enemy AI who don't do this behaviour when attacking. AI heroes are also running off into out of bounds areas constantly and dieing.
What do you expect to see? Please make friendly AI push command posts like enemy AI do when attacking and stop them running off/leaving ring. Stop AI heroes running out of bounds all the time and dieing.

  • Hmm, I haven’t really played enough or payed enough attention to really notice this. Something I have noticed is it seems like the AI get stuck in the Death Star and Star Killer base in the little, uh, indentation bits. This isn’t a picture that I took, and it obviously isn’t Instant Action, but it seems like the AI might get stuck in these little floor indentations. I was attacking the Death Star and after we pushed through the hangar, I would die and try to respawn and see that this one officer teammate was just standing in one of these, looking towards the next objective and at the edge, but he never jumped out.

    Another place they get stuck is the Resistance ship. I don’t have a good image or really know how to explain where, but there’s somewhere with a small staircase up. Some of the Resistance AI run through the door, take a left towards the stairs, but end up having turned too soon and run between the wall and the left of the staircase. They don’t seem to know how to backtrack and go up the stairs. This isn’t all of the AI, but it would be better if they didn’t get stuck in these places.

    I have managed to upload the 2 videos I captured that highlight problem (sorry they are small, I cannot get them to upload in normal/bigger size!) . In 1st video where there are 2 AI at the CP, one runs off before the second does soon after as well, leaving no one to capture. In 2nd video, super battle droid walks outside of CP ring before starts running off and rest of AI are fighting in the middle of the map I cannot understand why they do this when enemy AI don't seem to.

    As for the issue you highlight with AI getting stuck @JKTJH_sny4_play , I agree it is a big problem. I played DS2 attack today and during phase 3, 4 of the friendly AI were just stuck in the indentations, not even moving. They should be able to jump out, because at start of phase 3 a wookie warrior and trooper did so - seems worse when AI respawn into them. I also see the AI getting stuck in the walls of the MC85 ship very often like you which is annoying. I will try and get some footage/pictures and make a separate report at some point.

    @JKTJH_sny4_play I reported this bug since it's really game breaking, especially when 5 or 6 AI get stuck making the next phase impossible to win
