I have also had this problem, at least i think so, are you getting the title screen? and then it freezes goes to a black and white screen and crashes?
Nope, the client won't even load. After clicking "Play," a SWBFII window will open for 1-3 seconds then almost immediately close with no error message. The window itself is just black with no sound and is not full-screen.

Yes i have the same issue. My game crashes too when im trying to launch it. First black screen then half white and finally black and the titles doesnt show up on the screen. Everything worked perfectly before the 0.2 patch and played it almost 30h. I hope devs will fix this asap with patch!!

It didn't work for me, but EA recommends deleting your starwarsbattlefrontii.exe and your starwarsbattlefrontii_trial.exe and running the repair option. It'll look like the entire game is reinstalling, but it will only take a couple minutes as it's really just replacing the .exes.
