It wouldn't work. The team with the hackers on rarely actually realises it, and instead spends most the time just insulting anyone on the other team who identifies hackers. Not to mention your own team mates calling you noob until they get their hero one-hit. It's so infuriating.
- ApprovedAnonymous8 years agoThat not always works but that works. Nobody likes raging aimbots with 100 kills. And in that game win is not matter so no point to defend obvious cheater in your team.
- It would be a viable option... No matter what side you're on. By and large the entire server doesn't like a hacker present. Some are very, very obvious. We should be able to collectively remove them from playing with us.
You're right about people not liking hackers. The problem is over half the server won't believe you unless they themselves were killed by one, which means half the server ends up just insulting you and telling you to "git gud" if you call them out.

I've said it before, but the only thing that keeps the hackers from infiltrating the game right now is the price.
Just like with SWBF 1, in the beginning, there were not as many hackers online as nowadays, which is probably because the game is so cheap. People spend a little to get the game just to hack, no incentive to play serious.
I am frightened that if SWBF 2 becomes cheaper over time, more and more hackers will join this game and result in the same hacker mess as the first game. A vote kick is not perfect but will probably work better than the inbuild anti cheat.
