My game do not open after game patch 1.2. Reinstalled game, and checked all files via origin. Help! i can see much people have got same problem! HELP [No all caps title, Thanks!] - Atic

@EA_David My Windows is fully up to date and I also updated my graphics card driver and tried repairing the game but to no effect. I think the problem must be from a specific config within the update itself. Apparently a lot of people are facing the same issue on PC.

After several failed attempts to get the game running (Several restarts, Origin and BF2 re-installations, checking everything was updated, clearing caches, the works) I finally got desperate enough and tried a last resort! I did a fresh factory reset of my PC.After re-installing of my PC I updated my graphics card(GTX1060) and checked for windows updates. Installed Origin. Installed BF2. Restarted the PC...And nothing. Clik play. Origin tab closes down and reopens a few sec after. Game dont start.EA seriously messed this one up!!!So for anyone out there thinking of re-installing anything. Dont bother... Its a waste of time.

I have the same issue. I try to launch the game and after a couple of seconds the "Play" button is not grayed out anymore and I can click on play again without anything happening. In a thread from november or so they said try re-installing Origin so I did that and still nothing happened. I also checked that my driver was up to date and I already re-installed the game, tried repair und checked for further updates. Still no solution...

I don't know if this is relevant but I've noticed that the cloud syncing phase takes longer to finish up...

I had this problem, after installing patch 1.2 as well. Reading on here I tried the fixes, but to no avail. I have my main logon with admin rights, and one other account. So I went ant removed the hidden folder Origin on both accounts, and both star wars bf2 folders in my documents, and bam I was back in business. HOPE this help people out. 🙂

I was waiting for this patch 3 months and now i can't run a game.

Now I randomly tried to start the game for the 1000th time today ind now it says "logged in from too many computers..." Now, I just have to wait?

@Fluxeryy Unfortunately so, but It should hopefully drop off pretty quick.

Thanks to everyone for trying the steps mentioned.

Next, can you go to your Documents folder and look for the Star Wars Battlefront II folder, then delete it and try to start the game again? Be sure to only try this once, to lessen the chance of the "too many computers" error message being triggered.

One CM wrote something about delete a folder where is installed a game. Why? I usually do this by Control Panel to delete a game and folders. I did it today once.

Hey @Hoth24_YT that was me, I saw @EA_David suggested the same thing to But try this: Remove the exe files that are in the install folder for SWBF2 and do a repair in origin for SWBF2.
