Game doesn't launch after clicking play on Steam

Whenever I click play on steam it'll open up to a preparing your game popup from EA then it just boots into the library from the EA app, its the same result if I launch from the EA library and I have...

Same, just bought the game -- on launching I get "An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later".
