Game doesn't launch... at all

Recently I tried downloading the "Skin selection mod" for Battlefront II. I know you guys are gonna say "well, you tried to mod the game so it's your fault" but hear me out on this one. I tried using...

What I did was I completely uninstalled BF2 and then uninstalled Origin; apparently there were some folders or something that didn't get deleted the first time. After reinstalling both of them it finally started working again.

The fix for me was going to services(windows services manager) and stop and disable origin client serivce and origin web helper service and also restart your computer! Try it!

I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Origin and SWBFII multiple times, no luck. Hopefully someone else will find this thread useful, though!
