Hi!Just bought this game today, playing the campaign and realize it keep stutter and freeze during cutscenes and gameplay.I tried multiplayer and it happens the same. Gameplay is a bit smooth but as soon as i shoot someone the game stutter and i end up dead all duels. Flying in this game is totally UNPLAYABLE. When i spawn as any ship, the game stutter and freezes until i die.Can't play multiplayer without raging at this stutter.Turned on V-Sync and it fixes a bit but the game still stutter from time to time.I tried Reinstall the game but doesn't fix it. I'm using the latest Nvidia drivers.The nvidia shadowplay is telling me the FPS is 100+ but the game keeps freeze/stutter all the time.I play on High quality with:Intel core 3770k 4.2GHzGtx 1080Game is on a SSD16Gb RamAnyone with the same problem and fix?

I am having these problems too. I am using an Nvidia 1080 Ti. I've tried fixing it by:-Capping Framerate-Disabling G-sync-Downgrading windows 10 to before creators update (version 1607, clean install)-Updating to Windows 10 1709-Tried Nvidia drivers 387.92, 388.00, 388.31-Changing pre-rendered frames from 1 to 3 and vice versa-Game installed on SSD and HDD, no difference-DX12 (worse stuttering, but DX12 typically has issues on Frostbite)-HPET on and off, no change-Turning off all my overclocks, no change-Game mode on or off, no changeNothing seems to help, but I did discover it happens when loading new assets (first time loading a character model, sound, texture, etc.) I noticed when monitoring GPU usage that GPU usage drops to 0 every time it stutters and then back up to 100% afterwards. It's definitely this game, because Battlefront 1 works great on the exact same setup. Hey guys! Thanks for all suggestions. I tried your suggestions without success and all drivers are up to date. The only thing that helped a little bit was to enable V-Sync. It still stutter horrible but not as much as without v-sync. I did speak with EA customer support and they couldn't find my problem. We tried lower the resolution and redownload drivers. But nothing seemed to help.So i refunded the game ☹️ Hopefully the devs will see this or the others posts and patch this problem. And then maybe buy it again in the future.However, i'll let this thread be alive in case someone figure out a solution and someone with the same problem stumble upon this thread.

Just to note again, all problems started after the patch, so no it's not my hardware (replicated on 3 platforms and 3 different locations) and it's not my internet connection, it's bugs in some opcode, and I'm pointing my finger at the network part here. Try to get a software like RivaTuner Statistic Server to cap your fps at around 60-80. This combined with v-sync fixed alot of problem with crashing and stutter for me.Otherwise, i hope EA comes out with a hotfix or and update to fix these problems. Hope this helps you

It didn't work with rivatuner but nvidia inspector worked! Game is a bit playable again and i hope EA fixes this.Thanks for the suggestion.

Try to get a software like RivaTuner Statistic Server to cap your fps at around 60-80. This combined with v-sync fixed alot of problem with crashing and stutter for me.
Otherwise, i hope EA comes out with a hotfix or and update to fix these problems. Hope this helps you

Yeah I've got the same specs basically and still get stutters in games, even though I can run the game on ultra.

It didn't work with rivatuner but nvidia inspector worked! Game is a bit playable again and i hope EA fixes this.

I did the same but used the vsync in NVIDIA control panel and set it to adaptive and my power state to max and stutter is all but gone ( will stutter/drop FPS rarely now) and dont have to download or run a program in the back ground. Hope this helps

I've been crashing during the campaign. Stats show no overheating and I'm getting about 70FPS on Ultra settings with 3840 x 1600 resolution
Tracking down the event log shows it's the RUNTIMEBROKER being the culprit, but I can't find anything further.
Regular maps like Galactic Assault I haven't crashed in.
I don't crash in Star Wars Battlefront 1

As an experiment: try turning post processing to low, turn off ambient occlusion and set mesh quality to ultra. And try switching V-sync on and off.

Ok. I just crashed in the regular Galactic Assault map.
This is weird because I went through a whole play series of ALL maps on the day of launch without any crashes.
Either something has changed on the back end, or some setting I may have changed in my video settings.
I can't remember what. hmm

Same problems here, I also had many crashes while returning on the main menu.

Yeah the problem is still here, even after using adaptive v-sync or forcing limited FPS with nvidia inspector. ☹️ I hope EA does something about this soon. ☹️ Game is so unplayable atm

Having a similar problem accept I can’t play it at all. I can’t move in Multiplayer, the menu freezes up and has delay while I hover over things. I uninstalled and that didn’t work, but I was able to play yesterday completely fine. I feel cheated.
