game just closes

i can plat for hours at time and then the game closes or play 2 rounds and the game closes. i tried repairing the game and reinstalling. any help

    This occasionally happens to me and several others I play online with who say the game just crashed. Perhaps 2x per month.

    Many times it is not during a match but in transitions, from one map to another.  Rarely is happens in a match.

    Happens most often when I am running several programs in the background.

    This works for me.

    Clean up - Cleanup system files.

    Reboot - reset modem.

    Start the game.

    When I run only the game, from this start, the game has not crashed.

    Nothing obviously wrong in the dxdiag report other than the errors towards the bottom of the file. I suggest you find out what those are about - may be part of your issue.

    I had a similar issue years ago. Turns out my video card had dust built up on the fan. Once I cleaned he fan, all was good. This is a stretch, but worth checking out your video card to make sure it is seeded correctly, etc.
