Game keeps crashing when playing Hero Showdown

I'm also suffering from this issue. It seems to be linked to interacting with the menu, particularly the star card changer. I also had it happen when I opened chat once. Managed to sit through a couple of rounds without it happening by just selecting my hero and waiting. The above solution failed to remedy the problem.
