Game Launches Through Epic Games when Launched by Steam Client

So.. 

I had an Epic Games version of Battlefront II for free. I played for 2 days straight, and then I decided to just buy the game in a bundle on Steam. Installation went fine, but when I clicked "Play" on the Steam Client, steam says it's launched for few seconds, then it reverts to "Play". Origin then opens up, and surprisingly Origin opens the game through Epic Games. and this is the thing   I don't want..I tried reinstalling the Origin, Uninstalling Epic Games, reinstalling the game on Steam, installing the game through the Origin and everything was still the same.

    Hey, @zegar70 make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date, also worth reinstalling the GPU drivers for your PC.

     

    You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with SWBF2 and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

     

    Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?
