In the first game instead of playing multiplayer in just one game mode you were able to enter a lobby that would cycle through game modes while playing with the same group and you could vote to skip a mode or map. I thought that was a good feature so you can play different modes without having to rejoin. As someone who doesn't game online with friends it would be nice to see that added to battlefront 2 so I can stay in the same lobby.
In SWBF1? I don't remember that.

This was partially there in the DLC playlists in the first Battlefront, but only in the DLC ones, and "partially" because there was no voting. Well, at least in the XOne version, I don't know about PC.
Then again, the idea is not a bad one, but these should be different playlists altogether, not affecting anyone who wants to play one specific mode. Maybe giving every SW Era a different playlist with game mode rotation would be the best - without the GA and SA map repetition (so everyone would only play attacker or defender on that map, not both).
Edit: Now that I think about it, maybe there was something like that in the base game aswell, with you being able to choose from big game modes playlist, or heroes playlist etc... But I don't remember if game modes cycled after choosing that, or it stayed the same after randomly finding one at the first time.
