Game Not Launching

i started battlefront 2, played a round then closed the game.
after that whenever i press play, the game wont even launch.

i repaired the games files twice no luck on that. I've even reinstalled the game again no luck that.
ive went online to search for my issue, i see an option for disabling discords overlay no luck on that (even disabled origin ingame).
found another discussion about gstrender dx12 and change it to 0, it was 0 from the start.

now i dont know what else to do, ive tryed everything and the game still wont even lunch, anyone got any ideas?

Could you please try to clear Origin cache as well?

If that doesn't help - uninstall Origin the hard way and download the latest version from our website. Before launching the game as admin, remember to close down background applications as well.

same here, . game doesn't start since last update. have to click several times.... Are these people completely incapable to do their job?

This is an odd one, my game sometimes launches and sometimes it doesn't, this can't because of any update because it happens frequently when there hasn't been an update to either Origin or Battlefront 2 in ages.

Really stumped on this one - tried updating drivers, restarting PC, deleting the app, repairing and then updating multiple times, running as administrator, changed DirectX 12 through the settings txt file and even doing a whole re-install.

It seems to be completely at random whether it will launch or not - when I press play, the "Play" bar becomes greyed out my mouse cursor does the loading circle momentarily and then it turns back to normal without the game launching. 

I've looked at all the other threads on here and I believe I have tried most things to get this working.

I have attached my DxDiag info ahead of time in case anyone wanted to have a look.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Same thing here. Game won't even launch. I just bought it last night.

Yeeeaaah, basically nothing (deleting folder from Documents; deleting .exe and then repairing; reinstalling Origin) helps. It just refuses to launch again next day. Maybe devs should consider to allow playing without this, ahem, unstable software of EA's. Cause being 8 years old Origin still performs these great tricks.

What worked for me was to launch Origin itself as admin and then I can run the game 🙂

Well it's working now, so that wouldn't really help anyone.

What I'm guessing it was is that during one of the more recent updates, they updated BattleEye (or whatever anti-cheat they're using) but it needed to run as admin at least once to finish it's setup, and launching the game as admin doesn't launch the anti-cheat as admin, as Origin is what launches it.

Granted, this is all a guess, but the "Origin as Admin and launch game once" worked, and might be worth giving out as a possible fix on situations like this where games don't launch.
