Game stuck on zero percent installation status

Product: Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform:PC
What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug Game is stuck at 0% installation progress. I have reinstalled and same issue. Arcade mode runs perfect. I cannot play any other mode.
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? utengineer
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 11/20/2017
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 8:00 PM
In what game mode did the bug occur? Arcade Mode
What is your time zone? CST - GMT - 6:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I do not know.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing. The game will not install or go beyond 0%
What do you expect to see? the game to load but it does not.
Please select your region North America
AMD or Nvidia Model Number NVIDIA GTX 980

    Thanks for the help.
    i could finally fix it. after a bit of try and error search to see if another program caused the problem i found a task called "ROG GameFirst III" and after disabeling it the game runs without a problem.

    @utengineer @Tristoban Hi, this may be due to a conflict with your local security software. Can I check what anti-virus software you're using?

    As for fixing this, can you remove both the game and Origin from your firewall and anti-virus exceptions lists, then re-add them. This should hopefully let the install proceed as normal, thanks.

    Does temporarily disabling your anti-virus have any effect?

    You mention "since friday", were you able to install this game on this system earlier?

    yes the game was installed and working before friday and disabling my anti-virus program doesn`t help

    have you tried running Origin as Administrator?

    Thanks for clarifying. 

    As @DJTurna suggests, can you try restarting Origin as administrator? You may also want to try running the game as an administrator. The default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Star Wars Battlefront II

    I tried this too, but no luck.  After seeing the comment below on the ASUS Game First application, I ended that task and the game booted fine.  Game works a month later, but at least it works.
