I'm playing Battlefront 2 on Windows 10 and I ran into a problem today:
Today i downloaded the "Celebration Edition" Update for Battlefront 2 (Havent bought the Edition, but it still makes you do an update for the content of the upcoming new Star wars film i suppose). Before the update, the game was running without a problem. I have a pretty strong PC when it comes to performance and I never really had problems with Battlefront 2 or any other game.
But after the update today, when I start the game, it either gives me a black screen right from the beginning where nothing ever happens or it will give me the celebration update loading screen (the one with all the different helmets), load for a short while and then freeze during that same loading screen (i know it freezes due to the loading symbol not changing) and then sometimes crash after a while or just stay frozen.
What I've tried so far:
- Repairing the game over origin
- Deleting Origin Cache
- Deleting the "Star Wars Battlefront 2" Folder in my Documents (some people online said that apparently helps but it doesnt in my case)
- Running the game as administrator
- Uninstalling the whole game and reinstalling it
None of the above have worked so far, so now I dont know what to do. Anyone with the same problem and/or a solution to it?
