I am getting increasingly agitated... I really feel the pull of the Dark Side, EA.
ffs not this error again I got that after 1.2 patch :/

Okay, someone suggested i try the trial .exe in the game files, but running that just resulted in me being asked for a product key as "DisplayName" is not in the "Registry"
Running the normal exe in origin offline mode causes a activation window to appear asking me to enter my origin account info
upon doing that nothing happens but the usual.
the game starts alongside activationUI.exe
activationUI.exe vanishes from task manager then 3 seconds later the game does too.
