Just a small update on this situation. The studio is aware and is working on it, more updates will follow so stay tuned!

We are still investigating the issue in the mean time could you try to do any of the troubleshooting that I have listed below to see if that get the game to work or not.
- Run Ccleaner.
- GPU drivers reinstalled.
- Clean boot the PC.
- Run Origin and SWBF as admin.
- Removed SWBF2 exe and then run repair in Origin.
- Remove the SWBF2 document folder in documents.
- Try to do a manual uninstall of Origin.
- Click on the hardway: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/
- You can try to reinstall Star Wars: Battlefront 2.
- Try another windows user account.

Thanks for all the help so far! I'm going to need some more information from you (I know :P), can you send me a dm with Origin logs. if there is allot fo logs you can make a rar file and send it over to me.
The logs will be under: C:\ProgramData\Origin\Logs
You need to be able to see hidden folders in order to see this map. (link on how to do it: here)

already tried al that, the game was running fine before the update, so the bug is in the 2.0 update, and not on the side of the gamer,

Same issue; Battlefront 2 won't run.(Same issue with the licensing program showing up in the background). Repairs/full reinstalls/running as admin zero effects.
Same issue.
Tried to play this morning before work. Game just didn't launch.
Tried again since coming home. Now I get the Origin error other folks have posted already.
