I think the same................
Been there before.
Same issue as after the 1.2 patch.
Tried everything and starting to lose my patience.
First the duplicate starcards bug for more then three months and now this.
Still downloading........
- 8 years agoI can't try out any of the "solutions" posted before, since the game tells me that my account has been logged into from too many computers recently... but I only use one computer... and no, I don't share my account or my passwords with anyone.

when I had this issue after patch 1.2 someone gave me their account login , I loged into theirs, launched game then logged out and then it let me login into mines and didn't give the error again

So what we do now? i did everything EA said, but they game still doesn't work.. :\
- 8 years agoDid it help this time? I have the same "too many computers" issue

wait a long long time....
- 8 years agoNone of my friends owns Battlefront 2 - sadly they heard how "great" the game was performing before I could lure them into buying it - so I cannot try this workaround.

Done a repair, deleted the files in documents, re-installed my Nvidia driver and a re-install of the game.
Still the game doesn't start.
Realy frustrating...................

I don't think we can do anything but wait. I had the same/similar issue with the 1.2 patch, the day after (but less than 24 hours) it automagically worked again.
Some more info. The two first times I launched the game the game window actually appeared, in fullscreen, as normal but was all black. After a few minutes I alt+f4:ed out and since then I don't see the game window anymore. The bf2 process starts, runs for a few seconds and then exits bringing me back to origin.
- 8 years agoYeah, did everything, still didn't work :\

works after logging into another account and starting game from there thx for the tip
- Anonymous8 years agoCan you deal with this issue please?
Half of the PC users have this problem... - Anonymous8 years ago
Going to add my name to this as well. I've been through a phone operator, and Twitter. Repaired, done a safe boot, disabled all start up programs, uninstalled and reinstalled Origin. Nothing. I click play, Origin minimises, then moments later Origin is back again.

CAN CONFIRM. Logging into a different account with BFII allows me to launch the game, logging out and back into my account also allowed me to launch the game.
- 8 years agoCan confirm this worked for me atleast thanks!
- 8 years ago@EA_Atic I can log in to Origin, but I can no longer try and log in to Battlefront 2. Everytime I do, the error message (I've posted a screenshot earlier) shows up and tells me my account was logged in from too many devices recently. But I only use one computer for gaming and Battlefront 2 is only installed on said computer.
Before it showed up for the first time, I tried a lot of restarting Origin, restarting my PC, run Origin and Battlefront 2 as admin etc., because it just didn't want to start, like others described. I also reset my internet connection - which in general I could see as a reason for Origin to think I'm on a different PC now, but even so, it would have only been a second PC, not "too many", plus I've reset my connection before without that causing any issues. - EA_Atic8 years ago

Hey @Lord_St4rkill3r thanks for the information! 🙂
Could you tell us what steps you took to do this, for example: 1,2.3 ?
